Grass Roots, led by David Evans, has a proud tradition of supporting local sports clubs, schools
and the theatre.

All proceeds from Party in the Park will be distributed to the organisations below:

Football
When the football stadium in Cow Lane (venue for Party in the Park) was damaged by fire, Grass Roots contributed heavily to support the rebuilding. We’re delighted the facility can play host to our Party in the Park.

Tring Athletic Football Club

Junior Football
Tring Tornadoes Junior Sports Club is for 5-16 year old boys and girls. Coaching sessions on Saturday mornings are at its sports grounds at Tring School, Pound Meadow and Cow Lane.

Cricket
Grass Roots is now the main club sponsor of Tring Park Cricket Club. Prior to this, we provided funding to deliver the coaching of cricket in local schools through a charitable trust.

Rugby
Grass Roots is the main club sponsor of Tring Rugby Club, based at Cow Lane, alongside the football club.

Squash
Based on Cow Lane the Squash Club is home to 2 Men's teams, 1 Ladies team, and even 2 'Vets' teams too! The Squash Club also runs Junior teams and a wide array of coaching for all levels.

Bowls
Also based in the Cow lane sports complex, Tring Bowls Club arranges flat green bowling from April to September in District, County and National Competitions, both home and away.

Theatre
In support of the Arts, we own and fully maintain the local theatre and make it available for use by the Tring Arts Trust. Investments in the facility have run into six figures and help create the special relationship between the Tring Arts Trust and the wider social community.

Schools
Pupils from local schools are regularly seen around various areas of the business on work experience programmes and Grass Roots has contributed significantly to facility development such as playground equipment and nature trails. The Three Es programme was conceived with the support of Grass Roots learning and creative experts and we have regularly provided mentoring services to business studies students at Tring School.
