FAQS
The Spirit of Tring Guide and Common Questions
Tickets
How do I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets by clicking on the 'Tickets on sale now' button on the website. To buy online you will need to pay with a credit or debit card. There will be a card fee for each transaction, instead of booking fees per ticket. You will be sent an e-ticket barcode to the email address you have registered. Please print this barcode and bring it to the event with you.
Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Beechwood Fine Foods Box Office at 42 Frogmore Street in Tring or the Grass Roots Box Office at Pennyroyal Court, Station Road, Tring. At the Box Offices we can only accept cash or cheques made payable to 'Grass Roots Group plc'. Here you will be given a paper ticket.
What if some of my group/party is unable to enter the event with me?
You can photocopy your barcode and give it to the other members of your party, so they can enter the event without you. Your barcode will only allow entry to the number of people you have paid for i.e. if you have bought 4 adult tickets, only 4 adults will be allowed entry using that particular barcode, even if entering separately.
Can my tickets be refunded if I'm unable to attend Spirit of Tring 2012?
Tickets are non-refundable (except in the event of cancellation), non-returnable and non-transferable. If having bought tickets you find you are unable to attend, you can return them to us, and if the event is sold out, we will attempt to resell your tickets. If we are successful, we will refund your purchase at face value.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, children are welcome. The Spirit of Tring is a really family friendly event and the venue is very safe. Young children will be given a paper wristband and you are responsible for writing a contact mobile number on it. Children aged 6 and under are entitled to free entry to the event. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
Do we still need a barcode for Under 6's, even though they are free of charge?
No. Under 6's do not need a ticket to get into the event.
When will my e-ticket barcode arrive?
If you have bought tickets online your email including barcode should arrive within 2 hours. If you are worried that they haven't arrived please check your Junk email folder before contacting spirit-of-tring-party@grg.com
Can I buy tickets on the gate?
If the event is not sold out you will be able to buy them on the gate on event days. Tickets will be priced at £32 for an Adult ticket, £22 for an Under 16 ticket, and Under 6's go free.
